Different models for different needs. Zerion is a non-custodial wallet: your private keys stay on your device, and the code is open-source and audited. That's solid security for a wallet. But on-chain balances are inherently public, and the app collects usage analytics as described in their privacy policy.
UpdraftFi takes a different approach: your balance snapshots are encrypted with keys derived from your passphrase. We can't see your net worth even if we wanted to.
